“Classic France, Great Value”

A recent press clipping from Decanter (February 2010) “Classic France, Great Value” by Sarah Marsh MW, highlights exactly what we have been trying to emphasise in the past couple of months - bargains among the classic wines of Burgundy seem harder to find, but if you explore Burgundy’s more modest locations, it is possible to find talented growers who are reasonably priced.

As Sarah Marsh states ” At the entry level, a decent Bourgogne Aligoté, Hautes-Côtes. Bourgogne Blanc or Rouge can offer a glimpse into the top domaines at an affordable price.”
