Pascal Roblet picked his Volnay early, fully satisfied with ripeness levels and keen, above all, not to lose the acidity which he deemed necessary to energize such dense materials. This premier cru is opulently fruity with pronounced bilberry notes, and surprising tannic clout behind its fat flavours. Drink from 2010.
