New Shipments!

We are delighted to announce the arrival of new growers Domaine Rapet and Domaine Gruhier to the Domaine Direct portfolio!

It is the first foray into the UK for Domaine Dominique Gruhier, which we are very excited about. Gruhier is based in the town of Tonnerre, situated on the best vineyards in Epineuil. Although Gruhier is less famous than some of his Burgundian counterparts, he displays the virtue of top winemaking from some of Burgundy’s best winemakers, with a real sense of place, but without a painful price penalty. His Bourgogne rouge Epineuil Côte de Grisy is a wine for real Pinot Noir lovers.

Domaine Rapet is not entirely new to Domaine Direct. The family estate dates back to 1792! Now managed by Roland Rapet and his son Vincent, we first discovered the delights of Rapet’s wines about 20 years ago. The wines spanning the villages of Pernand Vergelesses, Savigny-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Beaune are a great addition to our portfolio.
