Domaine Laurent Tribut

The wines behind this label (generic Chablis and premiers crus Beauroy, Côte de Léchet and Montmains) come from vines belonging to Vincent Dauvissat`s sister and brother-in-law. Winemaking took place until 1993 chez Dauvissat, thereafter at a new dedicated facility in Poinchy. The Dauvissat family influence is still in evidence - the premiers crus (but not the generic Chablis) being raised in oak - but Laurent exerts full control over production and has steadily affirmed his own style. The Beauroy vineyard, now reaching full maturity, is a consistent performer marked by fine citrus aromas; the Montmains hails from the same extraordinary site as Vincent Dauvissat`s La Forest.
