We first chanced across a bottle of Agnès’s wine in Ma Cuisine some years back and were thoroughly impressed by the sappy fruit and stylish expression of Pinot Noir. Several tastings later we are delighted to be offering a broader range of her wines. The Patience no.8 is only made in certain vintages, aged in large 350-litre barrels and sees a longer élevage than the regular Auxey bottling, less obviously fruity with more restraint and lovely precision. The Bourgogne rouge is gorgeously sappy and bright fruited while the Pommard is possibly the most deliciously drinkable example of the wine we have ever come across.
