Domaine Cordier Père & Fils
Christophe is one of two proprietors of the terrific Clos du Four in Milly, Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon being the other, with both winemakers producing wonderful wines form this very special plot. Viré-Clessé is an unusual appellation as the Viré part is at higher altitude and produces strict, mineral, racy wines whereas Clessé is lower with deeper clay soils resulting in richer wines Christophe’s plots are all in Viré as he prefers this higher-toned terroir expression.
