Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon was established in 1999, a bold move for the Meursault-based Lafon family which has paid off handsomely and has since triggered numerous Côte d’Or investors to follow suit over the last decade. Meursault savoir-faire has been successfully leveraged and the entire range reflects terroir individuality. They are characterful, confident wines that offer textural richness and punchy minerality – the satisfying hallmarks of white Burgundy – at a snip compared with the price of Lafon’s Meursaults.
