Domaine Roger Champault
Located in a southern part of Sancerre in a village called Champtin resides the vineyards of Roger Champault. Historically the father of Roger and generations before him farmed grapes but never bottled their own wine. It wasn’t until Roger took over the vineyard holdings that they begun to bottle under their own label, due to the excellent quality if their vineyards, they still to this day own some of the most sought after vineyards in the Sancerre AOC. The estate has now been taken over by his sons Claude and Vincent who have taken steps to modernise the viticulture and winemaking techniques, installing thermoregulated stainless steel tanks in the cellar.
